If anyone is living in Marsden or Slaithwaite and are interested in the Transition Town movement they should check out Marsden and Slaithwaite Transition Towns (Search for MASTT using google).

They are always looking for new members who can help out or show their support in other ways.

Last time I went to the garden centre at Lindley they were no longer accepting plastic plant pots because people weren't cleaning them before they donated them.

Thank you for featuring my cards on your blog :)

I went out of my way to use bio-degradable 'poly-bags', as a lot of people still like to buy cards in 'plastic'. Although, ultimately, I'd like to lose this part of my card making - or maybe I should offer the extra packaging as an option! The recycled aspect of what I create is important so I always try and use 100% recycled stock wherever possible.

Thanks again

Better still as reusing is of course infinatly better than recycling- and a lot easier - so I will put away my soapy suds, stop cleaning plant pots and get up on Freecycle. Thanks for the tip.

Hi, I give my spare pots away on Freecycle - there's always demand for them.
